Progress ahead!

Hi there, we finally have access to the welding room all to ourselves. the first a-pillar has been cut short and welded on to the mounting plates ready to be put on the test rig hopefully by Wednesday the latest. We still have another pillar to do before we finally start on the designing section of the project. Might be a little behind schedule due to our own personal commitments, but it should all smoothen out as we get back into the momentum.

Semester 2

Hi fellow followers,

apologies for the lack of updates as I was away on vacation for 5 or so weeks. We've progressed into the second part of the year 2011 and looks like things need to get into Top gear now. Working has been organized and we are planning to weld the mountings on our test pillar in order to fit into the test rig. Pray that all goes well with the welding as we're pretty rusty or have no experience in welding to begin with! so on to semester two! add oil!
